Karen and Bob Frank-Plumlee served in a shared position as interim associate
regional ministers for the Christian Church in Kansas for 22 months, from May
2006 through March 2008. Before that, Karen Frank-Plumlee was regional minister
in Montana for nine years, serving until her retirement in 2002. Earlier, she
served the regional church in Kansas for 13 years as an associate and then
deputy regional minister.
Bob Frank-Plumlee retired in 2002 after nine years as pastor of Central
Christian Church in Great Falls, Montana. Before that, his experience in
ministry included stints as an associate regional minister for the Christian
Church in Oklahoma (1981-87), and then as intentional interim minister for seven
congregations in Kansas (1987-93).
The Frank-Plumlees are no strangers to covering great distances. They own a
log cabin in Montana, and a home on a golf
course in Oklahoma. Not only will they be able to split up when needed, but they
own a Cessna 172 that both are qualified to fly.
