A few years ago someone asked the question:  "What would you do if you won the lottery?".  Answers around the table flew fast and furious.  Some would buy a new car.  Others would go on a vacation.  Almost everyone, it seemed, would quit his or her job--in a heartbeat.  Finally, someone asked me.

With great trepidation I replied, "I'd keep doing what I'm doing right now."  I think I was as surprised as most to learn that I love what I do as a minister.  Even if I could financially afford to do --or not do--anything I wanted, I would choose ministry.  My vocation is my vacation.  What I do brings me happiness deep, deep, deep inside.  What an amazing realization.
